Spoonfed Love

I give you my mind
In small poetic pieces
Spoonfuls of sweetness,
Sorrows, and spice
I feed you my soul
In bite-size morsels
So I don’t overwhelm you
With the richness
I share with you my emotions
In colorful language
Painting pictures
Of my internal landscape
Drawing you a word map
In case you ever wish
To venture within
And explore my world
More deeply
