Bodhisattva

Everything in my life
Is service
There is nothing I do
That is for me
And yet Everything I do
Is all for me
Because that is the meaning
The purpose in my life
To eliminate suffering
When I can
To hold space for suffering
When I can’t
To have compassion
Inside my heart
For all who need it
To offer kindness to those
Whose paths I cross
To make my Every
Conscious moment
An offering of Love
To the Gods
To the world
To my human Family
To make every breath
A chance to Heal
Myself
My loved ones
The human Family
I cannot pretend to believe
That I can save the world
But I can give something
To the human being
In front of me

And to the next
And the next
The next
Next
